What is the OETT Skilled and Trained Workforce Apprenticeship Program?
The Operating Engineers Skilled and Trained Workforce Apprenticeship is:
â–ª An “Apprenticeship Program” specifically designed and tailored for initiated Journeyperson Operating Engineers of IUOE Local 12 that meet all the program entry qualification requirements.

â–ª Convenient for qualifying Operating Engineer Journeypersons to participate with minimal hinderance to current work schedules.

â–ª Registered with the State of California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS). Qualified Journeypersons upon indentureship into the Apprentice Program will be registered as an Apprentice. Upon completion of the program, the Apprentice will receive a certificate of completion from the State of California DAS.
